Who am I?
I am the computer geek in my family. I'm the "go-to" guy for any computer problems. I'm also the home theater technician, the telephone repair man, the cell-phone consultant, car stereo installer, and the primary advisor to all family members who want to buy or use technical stuff.
Who is this blog for?
This blog is for everyone out there who finds themselves in the position of being the one guy in the family that everyone looks to for technical help - only to realize that they themselves don't actually know all there is to know about the vast realm of technology.
What do I plan to post about?
I'm going to be posting about my experiences with dealing with the day-to-day problems of managing a technical household. I've got lots of computers in the house, home theather with satalite dishes, multiple telephone lines, printers, fax machines, etc. I'm constantly tinkering with stuff, and I figured that my trial and error could be valuable to someone out there. I'll post whatever I can.
